Prayer – We all need it!

The Prayer Chain The chain consists of a group of over 40 people who are willing to pray for urgent situations, many of which need immediate prayer, and also situations needing ongoing prayer.

All prayer requests are sent out, mostly by email, as quickly as possible and are confidential within the prayer chain.  We give thanks and praise to God for much answered prayer. We do not always hear the outcome of our prayers but in cases where we do, the results have been very positive and uplifting.

If you feel you can serve God in this very valuable way please contact Paul Wimsett.. We have both e-mail chains, which are ideal for those who have rather irregular hours, and a small phone chain.

If you would like prayer support at any time please contact Paul Wimsett (01626) 853241, or use either the email or telephone contact in the magazine (see note below)

Prayer Chain

The e-mail address (see Chudleigh News back cover directory under ‘Chudleigh Parish Church – Organisations’) to initiate prayer requests is working well. The telephone number to initiate a request is also printed here. The e-mail address has limited automatic forwarding – so that whoever is actually sending the e-mails out will receive your request.

There are still people who prefer to be only on the telephone list so please, when sending a request or update, can you e-mail a clear message without attachments. If you have extra information therefore to share with others (photos/prayer letters) please send it direct rather than through the chain.

By default we send e-mails without revealing your e-mail address.

A weekly Time of Prayer takes place in church every Thursday between 9:15 – 10:00am.

The time usually includes praise and thanksgiving to God and intercessions for individuals, the church and the world.  Everyone welcome. If you would like a particular topic to be remembered in prayer, let Paul know 01626 853241.

Prayer Meeting on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:30am for a hour.

A light breakfast from 8:00 – 8:30am in the Fellowship Room followed by prayer time in the side chapel. Information from Clare Lillington 01626 852155.
